CNS books

Does your book have 10 chapters missing? Did you pay $1300 for a 4 year old dell laptop? Tired of the old desktops and slow network?

CNS books

i love how when ITT reps are talking up ITT they talk about how all the books are up to date and that every 6 months ITT researches their books and get updated ones. this is a flat out lie. it is now 2010.... many of my CNS course books only cover OS's like windows 98, 2000.... its 2010! are you fuckin kidding me... were learning about operating systems that were released a decade ago?

the computers at my campus all run windows XP all the labs are written for windows 98, and all my instructors knew about was windows 3.1. pathetic, just pathetic

Ya i was handed packets about Internet Explorer 4, all of the information is out of date, the html code didn't work, no mention of CSS either. I complained about it, i was just blew off by the teacher who just handed a packet and browsed the internet. They say the books are custom, well that's half-true. You can't get them anywhere else, my guess they were the screw ups the publisher made and ITT bought them. The economics book went from chapter 6 to 20.

It's a crime that this corporation is still in business, you think the government would actually want to not waste money. If ITT Tech didn't get 70% of it's income from government grants and loans, they would struggle to survive.

ps. Get out before ITT drains your pell grant!

Unless the gov't gets enough tax money back based on ITT's profits. I wonder if someone out there has crunched the numbers generated from this calamity.

The only real students attending ITT Tech are the ones that shouldn't be there.

When I was enrolling at ITT the recruiter advised me to hang on to these books that way I could reference them my entire life. He must have been kidding; the books do not have authors. The books are just a bunch of highlighted shit from other real books that do have authors. I have a bookshelf full of computer books that are useful but less than 10% can be traced back to ITT. Everybody knows the devil is in the details and ITT books are just too vague to learn anything from. I have thrown out most of my NIIT books. Somebody please help me I feel sick :toxic: . Do not attend ITT Tech. :toxic:

If you disagree with the attitudes of this website then by all means take a certification program at a community college for 5k. A hell of a lot less than 40k and then come back and tell us how wonderful ITT is.

Thanks for everything ITT

My magic number is 9.8k.

I think you might mean 98K lol. I threw away all of my ITT Tech books. They were just sitting in the back of my closet and when I moved I didn't want to deal with them so I threw them out. I tried to sell them on various used book sites, only 1 of my books was actually recognized by the ISDN, the others seem not to exist.

When i attended itt back in 06 ..they had books from 02 and it was horrible we had to highlight and change the info in books to make the courses remotely relevant to the subject matter. i withdrew shortly after. now im stuck in debt . go figure. :toxic:
