GLAD

Postby doniker » May 21st, 2008, 4:50 pm

Glad to see that this "It Takes Time" website is taking off and I hope it gets bigger and better everyday.. the world must learn the truth about ITT and all the other rip off "we sell worthless diploma" corporations that are fucking people.

I will never get back the year I wasted at ITT in which I learned nothing.
All I have to show for it is the $20,000 debt that I owe Sallie Mae where the interest is growing at a rate of about $4 a day, everyday.

If this website saves other people from making a mistake and if it ultimately brings ITT down it would all be worth it.

Great job so far!!

If u goto a school that is on the National Clearinghouse list u can get that interest rate dropped big time. U can even drop out after the first week of classes. My interest went from 16.8 to 4.5ish but I intend on staying in the school and not drop out.

What does that even mean? Are you absolutely sure? It may be just your government loans. I think you still have to pay your private loans too.

Ttobba is wrong. I looked at the participating schools. ITT Tech and devry are listed on their several times, including my itt campus. I am going to attend a really good community college, scottsdale community college. Then go to ASU. SCC is pretty sweet, i already did a semester there, its like a university, but with the benefit of a community college.

They have a MAC Pro lab full of Brand new G5's (that was 2 years ago), new and fast computers, a student union, with a full size convience store. They also have a kitchen where they have a bunch of things you can order. Its pretty sweet.

I would have kept going there, but i screwed things up which landed me at ITT. Its the biggest mistake i have ever made.

It isn't just my federal loans. All 4 of my loans from attending ITT have dropped interest big time. I may be wrong that it will drop from any school but when I registered at Iowa State my loans dropped considerably. Maybe it is just cause of the school and my major. ISU is ranked #3 in the world in engineering and #7 in Liberal Arts and Sciences. I am taking Computer Science and that falls under Liberal Arts and Sciences. On Sallie mae's website, it will show u everything on ur loans if u register there.

I know I still have to pay the loans but as soon as I registered at ISU my rates dropped a lot.

That is pretty cool, are all of your loans deferred or do you have to make payments.

That is one expensive Community College. (I hate ITT Tech. I hate every person that pretends that ITT Tech is a real school. I hate myself for believing that lying sack of shit that told me how competent the teachers were and how if what I learned ever became out of date I could come back and learn the current stuff. Is there even a single campus of ITT Tech that is not a total piece of... of... of... whatever man. I'll see those fuckers in hell.)

The community college I am attending cost $80 per credit hour.

ITT charges $475 per credit hour.

That is about 6 times cheaper than ITT.

My loans are deferred. It says on sallie mae's website that ur payments go back to deferment if u register for classes at a school on the National Clearinghouse list and sure enough as soon as I registered my loans went from grace period back to in-school deferment.

Here is what is says on saillie mae's website
" You don't have to request deferment if you are attending college or a university at least half time (less than half-time for Tuition Loan Program loan) and your school, like most schools, participates in the National Student Clearinghouse's paperless deferment process. Participating schools notify us when you register for classes. We then automatically defer your loans starting with your semester begin date until your anticipated graduation date. Find out if your school is a Clearinghouse member by clicking here. If so, you don't need to submit a form. If you are certain that your school does not participate in the Clearinghouse, download the form."

Here is the website to find out if ur school is on the list.
