I stumbled across this board and I think it's great. I was also suckered by a proprietary school, The Art Institutes. I have been cruising the internet for information and I have came across many websites of ex students who feel as though these proprietary schools scammed them. Regardless of the school, the story is always the same.

I am trying to start a movement to end proprietary school abuses. I am trying to find as many ex students of these schools, as I think we should join together against them. I have started a petition, calling for the US Government and Dept Of Education to reform the way these schools operate. It is criminal, that they continue to get away with the abuses they commit against their students, despite the many complaints. It is no coincidence, that all these ex- students feel the same way.

It is difficult for a handful of students targeting a specific school to be heard when trying to speak out about the unethical, predatory practices of a for profit school; because the companies who own them are quick to step in and snuff out our claims.
