Midterms

Postby ttobba » September 29th, 2008, 5:38 pm

My midterms begin Oct 1 and end Oct 8. Boy is this going to be an unsocial week and a half. ISU is ridiculously hard but worth it. In high school I never had to study. I got a 3.4 gpa just by going on notes. At ISU I am studying 2 hours for every hour of class with books and notes. Boy are the books expensive as hell. $738 for for 5 classes of books.

they were used. New would have been little over a grand. I did have to get 2 new ones because they were new edition. It seems like a big amount but if u break apart per book it isn't bad. but that number as a whole is horrible.
Math 165(Calculus 1): 2 books. 1 was new. My math lab online homework resource, study guides. 5 things total
Com Sci 227(Intro Java programming):1 book. Had to get brand new.
Eng 150(intro composition class): 4 books
Soc 235(Social history and how it impacts today): 4 books
Com Sci 101(Intro to com sci-they use this for Software engineering too):1 book
