Salle mae pulled a fast one.....

Hello I'm back again. I have not been around for awhile, I have been busy with my new job.

Today Salle Mae pulled a fast one on me. I have not been able to make any payments on my account(s) because my financial situation will not allow it. I am working for frito lay part time. I only get 20 hours a week. I barley make enough to make my bills and feed myself. anyways back to what happened.


I tried to make a small payment to my account online, through the salle mae website. The system was down So I decided to call them about it. It was not till tonight that I got a hold of them. I told the rep that the site was down and I wanted to make a small payment. He pulled my info and told me that my account was locked and that I need to make a payment by phone to unlock it. He also told me that the system was never down. I freaked out, he said that a payment of $104 would be enough to unlock it. Like a dumb ass I gave him my debit card info. It came back denied. He said we can set up a payment of a later date. I said ok, I will call back Thursday when I get paid. He said that the funds would automatically be withdrawn from my account on Thursday. I told him that I wanted to call in and do it over the phone. He said that it he had already entered it and there was nothing he could do. I freaked out on his ass and he hung up. When he told me the system was not down I knew something was fishy. I checked online, my account was not locked and I could make a payment.

The fucker flat out lied to me. I know better than to give out my account info. He made it sound like I was in real trouble, and I believed him. Just goes to show you how sick and twisted these people are. I have to go change my accounts again, there is just no way I can make a payment that large.


I just needed to rant. I hate what Itt has done to me... BUT i have gained a lot of knowledge on how to deal with debt. I just need to teach myself to avoid little scams like this one.

Maybe we should file lawsuits against SallieMae since they're allowed 2 pull dat kinda crap...
