The Freecreditreportdotcom guy replied!!!

Postby sevenalive » July 3rd, 2008, 4:17 am

I sent a message to the guy who does the songs for that certain freecreditreport site. Showed him my lyrics and asked him to sing the song:

Hi my friend,

Thank you for writing, sorry if it takes me forever to reply. I don't have a musical version of the MP3, I received them with the lyrics. I'm also sorry to tell you that for the moment I don't have time to record my own song so I can't record your song either. I like the new lyrics. You did a good job. I hope you'll find a good job after your study to pay back your loan.

Eric Violette

I just think it's badass he responded, but i guess he didn't write the lyrics, but then again why would he?
My idea for my new signature was just going to be the ITT song i created,

[to the tune of "Dreamgirl"]
Well i went to ITT, i went to ITT
But they didn't tell me it was a scam!
So now instead of going to a real university,
i'm sitting on a loan of 40 grand
No i can't get a job, so i gotta join the mob
all because i went to ITT
if i'd gone to it takes time dot org - {well its org but com sounds better, hopefully i will get the domain by jan09}
i wouldn't be broke and have a high interest loan!

Annualcreditreport.com is the "real" site. (Just to be sure I checked at ftc.gov.) At the very least you can get one free credit report, per year, from each of the three major nationwide consumer reporting companies — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.

Freecreditreport.com makes money by providing you with something that you are entitled to for free. There is some other service that they provide, but I don't know or care what it is.

Uhhh ya i know, the guy in the commercials, who sings the songs about "Dream girl", "pirate" and "car" is the guy who replied to me. I wrote him an email asking him for an mp3 of the instrumentals only. And/Or if he could sing my lyrics to the tune of "Dream girl". That was his reply up there.

freecreditreport.com is owned by Experian...one of the three credit bureaus. Each of them have their own versions of "free credit report.com" though. TransUnions is called TrueCredit or something. You only get a free credit report once a year like you mentioned, or whenever you are denied credit. That's overall, some states are different. The service that freecreditreport.com provides is the constant monitoring of all three of your credit reports for a monthly fee...which, no matter where you go, is NOT free.

Ya ya ya, but that is not the topic at hand guys.

Maybe i ought to explain:
I took the song from 1 of those commercials, where the guy is singing about his girlfriends credit, aka "Dream girl"
I made my ITT song lyrics to that tune.
I contacted the guy who did the commercials and asked if he happened to have an instrumental version, thinking he actually played the guitar in the commercial. I also asked if he could sing it if he wanted to.
It took him a while, but he finally replied (which was kick ass).

So that is what my post is about, nothing to do with their site or services.
This is the commercial/song i am talking about
