NO SPRING BREAK WTF???

Tired of listening to your instructor tell stories about his daily visit to a perfume store? Wonder when your going to get a "hands on" approach?

NO SPRING BREAK WTF???

Postby Seven ALive » February 8th, 2008, 2:21 pm

Its bad enough we go to school year round, now we can't even have a spring break! The real schools have a spring break during march, we won't have one till april for some dumbass reason. I really would like to know the reasoning for all this. Do they got monkeys in the board room making these decisions? Why would you need to delay spring break, what the fuck is that going to do?

I always hated that, too. We also went during the Summer.

When I was there we went year round, 5 days a week for 4 hours a day, with a two week between one or two of the quarters. It sucked but it also meant you could earn a B.A.S. "degree" in three years for about 25K.

I think they do this because the programs have more credit hours than usual, like 180 credit hours for a Bachelors "degree" at ITT versus a real one for about 120 credit hours. I forgot about this when I was calculating the current cost of ITT a few years ago; people were talking about spending 80K and coming up with around 55K.

Oh yeah, they f*** you with bogus credits quantities, too.
The only real students attending ITT Tech are the ones that shouldn't be there.

Congrats aka name, you got promoted to dropout lol, i love the rank names.

Anyway, no it still takes the full 2 or 4 years. I was still there for a year an a 1/2 with an expected graduation in oct. The problem? i passed out of like 4 classes, should of been even less than that. They manage to drag it out more, but teach less material.
