Driving ATVs and playing the XBOX is a sign of success for these parents? Damn...depressing... :(
The only real students attending ITT Tech are the ones that shouldn't be there.

WTF? (Bachelor Version)?

WTF their parents again! lol so, the 2 brothers are living together. They say they got good jobs but they don't say what jobs.

At least their isn't a fat wife, or a guy living with his mom in this one. Hmm however they could be at their parents house.
If you don't like it, MOD IT!

This is the commercial that pissed me off. On and on with how successful they were. It's selling another get rich scheme.
So far I've directly stopped 16 people from attending ITT.
16 x 45,000 = 720,000
God only knows how many they've stopped.

The sad truth is, I'd make a better Visual Studio Teacher than my teacher was.

Hello,

My name is Manuel Siliezar, I may not be the smartest guy in the world but I recognize a mistake when I see one. Later after working at Home Depot in San Diego, CA during the day and attending ITT Tech during the evenings, I graduated with an Associate's of Science as a Computer and Electronics Engineer. I heard many things about the school ( Bad Things ). I attended school in 2003 and graduated in 2005. Right before graduation I got interviewed by a company that provides services to Oil Companies around the world, my first year I made about 60k just in training, second I made 70 and third close to 100k. I had moved up as a field engineer manager. Due to the lay offs on 2009 I was force to quit voluntary with bonus. After this I manage to get a job as a Teacher Assistant for a while till the economy got a little bit better, Now I’m working for another company that provides services as well to Oil Companies. I just started like 3 months ago and making 2200 salary and 350 a day. I cannot complain with ITT Tech. You make of it what you are; ITT Tech teaches the basic and some hands on, that does not mean you will become a pro once you graduate. I love computers all my life,

The handful of success stories about ITT Tech "graduates" are seen nationwide everyday, so your claims aren't anything new. Anyone can work in the oil industry and make a lot of money, with only a high school diploma and/or a CDL license. I'm glad you're happy with your education and life.

Manny,
Teacher's assistant? Sounds like you have more education than just ITT Tech. I am glad that you are doing well. I have the same degree that you do, but from a different campus. Would you recommend the San Diego campus of ITT Tech? Yes or no? Before you answer, pray some.

Thanks.

Not sure if the following is relevant. It is just copied and pasted from http://www.forbes.com/2010/01/08/best-worst-jobs-leadership-careers-hiring.html, though I do remember hearing a lot about the study at the time it came out. Sorry I didn't use quotation marks and all of that.

CareerCast, a jobs Web site, evaluated 200 professions using five core criteria: pay, hiring outlook, the work environment, stress and physical demands, using data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Census Bureau and trade association studies.

What's the worst job in America, according to the study? Oil rig or gas pipeline worker--what you would call a roustabout or a roughneck.

(I heard on the radio one time that a roughneck is actually one step above a roustabout. Is there any truth to that?)

Roustabouts routinely work 12-hour shifts in blistering desert heat or frigid ocean storms, sleep in crowded dormitories and risk severe injury or death.

Ill explain a little what my job is and what the job of all the other workers on the rig as well.

A roustabout is the lowest level on the rig, they work theis ars all day for 12 hrs and do pretty much anything they are told to. A roughneck is actually one step above and they work the pipes up on the rig floor, from tripping in and out of the hole, its a dirty job and I feel sorry for them. There are other third party companies like us. Mud Engineer, Mud Loggers, and so on. Im the MWD/LWD and I ask you to look up and try getting a job and see how it goes. I got interviewed with 4 managers and its hard. The work is not that hard, we log the well with various high tech tools wich go in the hole 20k feet deep at temps of 350F. We as MWD monitor 2 screens and keep up with logs wich we send to clients like, Exxon, Chevron top dawgs. I do not do the work rig workers do, and its not easy getting a job. The next step is the DD or Directional Drillers, now this guys direct the well in accordance to the surveys we take they can derive the direction of the string or pipe below. Critical job but 700 a day, well paid. Next step is the CM or Company Man, he is in charge of the rig and all the operation, this guy makes 1k aday, good money i say. There is no way in HELL you can make this much money in a software company, with an AS on computers. ITT Tech like I said teaches the basics and no I would not recommend it, go to college, much cheaper with same education. The school does not suck, but its price too high for what it is.
