I'm currently enrolled at the Tempe ITT tech campus and I've had strong feeling over the past few weeks that I'm getting ripped off. I planned on going to ITT tech for a bachelors degree for Animation/Game Design.Ever since the first day of class I had feelings that this school was a waste of time but I though that since it's my first quarter it might just be to refresh my brain, but it wasn't. I was in classes with people who've never had basic math and haven't been to school in 20 years. I was the only kid there straight out of high school and from then on I knew something was out of place. I continued my education at ITT tech but soon I had to shorten my classes because I couldn't pay 900 dollars every quarter, they told me I didn't have to pay anything if I stuck with 2 classes and sure enough every 2 weeks they sent me a bill of 900 dollars saying I still need to pay it, this really ticked me off and showed me how they're not serious about their students education's and that all they want is more money from me. During my next class I plan on going to financial aid and canceling my enrollment and my loans. I have sever questions before I do that.
Do I just walk in and demand to see the counselor and tell them I'm through with the school?
Will these loans need to be paid off as soon as I get out of the school?
Is there a way to transfer the money to a different school like ASU or a community college?
Do I need to cancel the loans myself( I'm afraid they'll keep sending ITT money and Ill owe more)?
How much debt am I in from just two quarters?
