Nursing Student..Huntington,WV

Hello everyone,

I am new to this site and would like to ask a few questions. I have been attending ITT (Nursing program) in Huntington, WV since Dec. 2010. We, the students, have now come to the point of the unthinkable for us. Itt has changed there grading system, they are now REQUIRING us to carry Medical/Accidental Insurance and we also have to have a B in all classes or we can not go on, if we do not have the insurance we are kicked out of the program. Is there anything we can do about this? I would also like to know if anyone else has earned their degree in nursing through them? I have contacted the Board of Nursing here and they tell me that yes they are accredited and that we can take our boards if we complete and pass ITT's program. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

Ummm....from what I've found on other sites ITT Tech doesn't even teach you enough to be able to pass the board tests.

Maybe they are just lying about the insurance being a requiremnt and are in kahootz with the insurance salesman. Just trying to squeeze more money out of you. Be aware that if you say anything that they will take it personally and you will be penalized.

I know I couldn't pass any kind of standardized exam.
