Post here if It Takes Time helped you

Postby sevenalive » January 7th, 2010, 5:25 am

I want to start some sort of list of people who got out or prevented attending ITT Tech with the help of this site. Kind of like a thanks, per se, and it will give us a better idea how much people we helped and how much money they saved by going to a state-funded school instead of ITT Tech or other for-profits.

You can just do +1 and if you would be kind, vote in the poll too.

+1....thank you so much! Can't believe I wasted my time and gas on their "sales pitch" as I like to refer to it. I mean come on, they show you a bunch of slides about why ITT's so great and more of their freakin commercials! GRRR.....anyway yeah one big Ponzi scheme! :toxic:

+1 Thank you for all of the info. I am attending ITT Tech Norwood, OH. I am going in tonight and dropping off my letter of withdrawal. I will also be mailing one. Thank you for giving me some idea of what's to come and where to start. Wish i would of never thought ITT was a good place for me.

I wouldn't say this site helped me directly, but it was definitely the tipping point.

On a whim, I decided to watch the PBS Frontline special College, Inc., that has been sitting in my Netflix Instant Queue for sometime now. I did some research on ITT Tech, and eventually found this page after wading through all the numerous "It's a scam!" webpages in Google.

While I have attended orientation and have signed financial aid paperwork, I have yet to attend a class, and per the enrollment agreement, I am not liable for anything. My cancellation letter is on it's way as I type this, and I plan on taking everyone's suggestion and seeing it through to the end and making sure I get everything in writing.

I know that I may not have been you first stop, but keep on doing what you do for everyone else. :D

This site has helped me help other people.
The only real students attending ITT Tech are the ones that shouldn't be there.
