I have been to the F.A. office about 15 times since i attended. Everytime they tell me i am done and they have everything they need, i get a call a month later telling me i need to go in. They lost my parents tax forms and then blamed it on me. One time i went in there, she told me i don't have a CALP loan and i need to finish my FAFSA, i told her yes i do, and thats been done a long time ago. It took her 10 minutes to realize she had the wrong student records. She called the registrar and said i am here with [wrong name], and i am like what? No i am Robert Baker. She tried to blame it on both of us when it was clearly her fault.

I hate F.A. they just keep telling lies, espcecially the interest rate, my loan is 16% WTF

when I was going through the loan approval last year, the bimbo working the computer had to have her 'supervisor' called in to 'help'.

The F.A. bimbo had no idea how to use the computer system, and even less understanding of the actual rules/regulations of who qualified for what loan and why.

Her supervisor did all the work, over he shoulder.
That was the first warning sign about ITT, the incompetance of the administrative staff.

They must pay those people nine dollars an hour for 'data entry'.

FA is preventing me from getting into another college right now. I got a letter in the mail about a week after I withdrew from ITT saying that my federal loans had been returned to Sallie Mae since I was not returning to ITT. A couple of days after that I got another letter from them saying I owed almost $2,000 to them and that that amount had been sent to NCO for collections and they wanted payment within 5 days. I don't know many people that have $2,000 just sitting around but I am definitely not one of them. I am in the process of looking for a new job so money has been very tight. I have contacted NCO and ITT in the matter of trying to work out a payment plan because ITT refuses to send out an official transcript until the amount is paid. When I spoke to FA about this they said "We don't send out transcripts of people who haven't paid their money to the school because then they will not pay us back." I wanted to scream at the lady; I do not need the transcript for credits, just for the GPA which Grand Valley wants to verify. I'm looking into just getting an unofficial one and praying Grand Valley will accept that for the GPA. And of course their going to get their money because I do not want this going on my credit and knocking my score down; they are just not going to get it in a lump sum like they want.

Just be sure you give Grand Valley what they want for admissions so it doesn't come back to haunt you. Ask a relative for a $2k loan or something...

I agree, the Financial Aid Administrators there are nothing worth time or anything, although there was this one older lady who was one there which she was very sweet though, I have to say I feel sorry that she has to lie to students to keep her job.. In a way when I first came there was telling me in a round about way to walk away but I didn't listen, other than that my assigned financial aid admin was a B*TCH, she treated me like sh*t, and when there was times when she needed my attention she was rude as f*ck, she'd come to my class and yell my name out loud and STARE at ME for a full 5 minuites, which I didn't appricate, especially if I was paying that kind of money for an education.
