A story of my ITT experience.
First quarter, instructor was fired after three weeks, he did not know what he was doing and I think that he was drunk and tweaking every day that he was teaching the class. (note the only resone ITT got rid of the instructor is because it was the first semester and they were afraid that they would loose most of the class that was starting to see the real side of ITT before they were hooked) The instructor that we got for a replacement was great her name was Ms. Que.
Second quarter we had Ms. Que again everything seemed to be going great we were learning a lot.
Third quarter, we had a ok instructor her name was Name was Ms Shalue ( Forth Quarter, I forgot the instructors name but he was missing his pointer finger I will call him the finger man. This guy was a joke during the first week in lab I ask him if I was using the test probe right because I was wasn’t getting a reading on the oscilloscope and he grabbed my probe an threw it across the desk and told me not to bother him. Also in our lab book that I would turn into him, I would write that he was fat ass hole and a looser for answers in the book I always got A’s he never really look to see how I was doing and hardly put any effort into teaching the class. In the bullshit economics class taught by Mr. Freed again, several students would be drinking beer in the class and and everyone passed again no matter poorly they did.
Fifth quarter, Ms. Shalue was the instructor this quarter. Even thou she was a complete bitch I was very happy to have an instructor that I could at least learn from even if she was a little buzzed. Mr. Freed taught sociology which was again a complete joke. About half of the class was getting drunk or stoned at the end of the day to deal with there depression that they have wasted over a year with this scam school.
Sixth quarter, Mr. fingerman taught this class and it was a nightmare. It was like forth quarter and a complete wastes of time.
Seventh quarter, the guy that taught this quarter I think his name was Mr. Wilbe he tried to teach the class but he just didn’t know what he was doing and was nervous wreck. We also had this Asian lady teach our bullshit physics class. We had a pool going to see what day she would have a nervous wreck and run out of the class, she was in know way capable of teaching the class.
Eighth quarter, This was the worse quarter it was taught buy this stupid fat middle eastern Indian guy I forgot his name. during this semester I started recording the class. On several occasions the instructor would say that no mater how bad any of us did we would all pass and that the school we where going to was a joke. When he found out that I was recording him he became enraged and tried to take my recorder.( He grabbed for it and started fighting with me over it, this is when I should have sued these bastards for ripping me off) Afterward the dean came to me to find out what happened, and after explaining the events to them they where very nervous around me I feel so stupid for not taking them to court at this point but at the time I just wanted to get out of there with my worthless diploma.
I did get a good job after I was finished with ITT making 45 to 50 thousand a year but it was a friend that got me the job not ITT I don’t remember them getting anyone a job. I know that a lot of employers that see ITT on résumé throw it into the garbage. The real scam is that most of the people that go to ITT pay for a great deal of the school threw Cal and Pell grants which tax payers pay for this is how ITT charges so much. They know at least 60 percent of the people going to ITT could never get though a regular college. If u took away the grants that the government gives ITT would go out of business they should regulate grants so the money isn’t wasted on programs like ITT.
I left out a lot of the bullshit things that I saw being done at ITT, but I think what I have written is a good example of how ITT is ran.
As far as the records they keep on attendance it bullshit, some guys in my class only showed up once a week. As long as you showed up you passed.
