Tired of listening to your instructor tell stories about his daily visit to a perfume store? Wonder when your going to get a "hands on" approach?

Autocad Instructor

My Autocad/sketching instructor was a very big asshole for a teacher, mostly to me.

I was new to the Autocad program and I still had difficulty getting the measurements correct. When he came over to "help" me, instead of just telling it to me he has to scream it out the entire class that i was getting it wrong. it be like "you gotta make sure the measurements are percise....REMEMBER! YOU MUST HAVE THE CORRECT ...

ITT Tech Concord

I don't where to post this, so I guess I'll post it here. I had some free time after I dropped off my paper at a community college, and decided to check out the ITT Tech "campus" in Concord. I drove there and it looked like a shithole. It was located near a day laborer zone, it was sharing a building with another company, near some beauty/cosmetic school or supply store. It was around early ...

In Defense of Instructors Part 1

First of all, as a former ITT instructor, I can assure you that ITT is a complete load of crap. However, for all you students who think you got the shit end of the stick, let me tell you there’s shit on the other end too. If you take a look around though, it seems like there are plenty of success stories, and yes, I’ve met some good students who did well, went on to ...

Portfolio Development - Invasion of Privacy?

At my school (in New York State) - I am currently enrolled in in a class that I feel is invading my privacy. The class itself is Professional Procedures and Portfolio Development, and the purposes of the class is to get us soon-to-be-graduating students to create a resume/portfolio and be able to evaluate our strengths in order to sell them in an interview.

Second week of class, the head of career services walks in and ...

http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2009/10/02/Police-Teacher-faked-abduction/UPI-87171254513775/

Agbemble spent the night at a relative's house, but friends and family became concerned when he didn't show up to teach the next day at ITT Technical Institute, and discovered his house had been ransacked and threatening graffiti sprayed on the walls.

One big funny

So, I have posted on this forum awhile back, shared my story and all.

For those that may not know, I graduated ITT with an Associates (not like it means anything) degree and went to another college instead. Luckily, I was able to test out of a number of gen ed classes, studied my ass off + prior HS knowledge. Currently am very happy at a new school, but that is beside the point.

I ...

Becoming a Technical Professional

I am 2 weeks away from completing my first semester at ITT-Tech. The one and ONLY complaint I have so far is this class, becoming a technical professional, the course material is IDENTICAL to a class I took in 9th grade called "Becoming a Master Student." All they do is teach you pointless shit I already knew, like the basics of Excel and Word(which I think should be prerequisites for attending the school, if you ...

College Math II - Tempe, AZ / General Rant

I forgot the instructors name, but this guy was a real teacher. He did make sure everyone understood the material, and that was the problem. The other students complained and complained, they did not show up for class or turn in the work. Now i don't like Trig or think i need it, but this has to be one of the only classes where they were teaching something. The instructor new the students didn't understand ...

My economics teacher - Tempe

I don't remember the bastards name, but this guy was something else.

He taught the economics class at the Tempe, AZ campus. The first class he said he was a professor at ASU for 1-2 years. Well later on he got his lies and stories mixed up. He was first a professor, then he was a realtor, then a salesman (later revealed a paper salesman, what like Heroes, The office).

So when he said he ...
