ITT tech recruiters lie about tutors and tutoring. When I was being recruited they are always happy to announce they have tutoring for every course at their school. This is false.

ITT tech has tutors for math and math only. If a student requests a tutor for programming or something else, the first thing administration does is refer you back to your Chinese database instructor. A skeptic may say something like, “You need to make a nuisance of yourself to get things sometimes, squeaky wheel gets the grease, right?” The skeptic is wrong. I made a nuisance of myself so the administration arranged for a single 30-45 power session with an instructor that could at least speak English. But quite frankly this instructor spoke so fast and was in such a hurry I wasn’t left any better off.

Recruiters need to be treated like car salesmen. They are professional salesmen and profiteers. They should be loathed throughout the school. Their answer is always YES!!! They are not honest academic advisors, nor do they substantially enhance the education of any of the so called students. It is also my understanding they are paid more than any other department. Imagine that. They exist solely for ITTs benefit. Once a student signs their Upromise enrollment junk, they will immediately begin stalking for that student’s replacement. The recruiters are the teeth of the ESI ITT Tech business model. They are absolute predators in every sense of the word.

ITT tech does not make money by providing education. They make money by processing students and the recruiters begin that process.

My recruiter promised me the military scholarship. He only promised it to me after I had mentioned I was plaanning on attending a different school because it cost less and had a better reputation. The recruiter I had brings in more people to the school than most do, Now we know why !!!
