A short yet sweet encounter.

The other day while i was at school i received a phone call from an ITT rep, first off I dont really know how he got my phone number, i'm guessing a friend of mine who attends that school must have put me on some sort of recommendation list or something. Either way after about 2 minutes of listening to this guy ramble on about the school and opportunities and such, i decided to just hang up on him and block the number. Today i got an e-mail from the same guy i hung up on a couple days earlier and i just found it amazing at how childish they can be if they dont get their way. Here is part of the e-mail i got "Thanks for hanging up on me. It’s refreshing to see that boys who aren’t ready for an adult college like ITT can attempt to find success at SCC…good luck"

*SCC (Spokane Community College) is the place im currently attending.

Hilarious!
The only real students attending ITT Tech are the ones that shouldn't be there.

Well I called up the ITT tech and asked them how much there 2 year CNS degree cost? They more or less tried to avoid the question. They told me that a single credit hour was $406.00!!!! JESUS CHRIST!!!! :o I pressed on and found out it takes 94 or 96 credit hours to graduate. I calculated this over the phone and confronted her with 96 * 406 = $38976.00. “Forty Thousand dollars for a 2 year associate degree. “ At this point she just got pissed off and told me I could add it up any way I liked. I asked her if I would receive an MCSA or MCSE or anything else to justify the bloated cost and I informed her that Community College was right down the street and they have a skills center that offers various Certifications. She then told me the only thing ITT Tech focuses on is your degree and education. She then tried to confirm that I would be learning a great deal at ITT.

I really disagree with this. ITT tech students don’t learn anything. In CNS all they do install server 2003 a bunch of times. Install AD a few times more. Create a few forests, a few trees and a few domains. They will have you fire up DHCP server while not understanding proper IP address allocation. Lecture a little bit more about the schema. They will have some strange suited man come around and says things like, “This network is quite an expensive setup, I hope you make the most of this opportunity.” Lying bastard. They will make excuses that the labs don’t work right because the software was designed for real life networks not classroom experimentation. Wait an hour and half because the fat guy decided to format his whole fucking hard drive instead of a 10 GB partition.

The only reason ITT tech has a LAN at all is so they can have you fetch stupid answers off the internet. Where does outer space begin? And how fast does light travel? Why do bulls charge red capes?

The fact of the matter is that ESI ITT is so embarrassed about their own tuition rates they have to try and hide behind something like per credit hour. Hopefully they can confuse and sign the student before he/she realizes what kind of mire they just got themselves in to.

Thanks for everything ITT
40,000 dollars for a 2 year associate program.

LMAO. I was SAP, but most of the classes I took had a lot of CNS students. I remember the linux class. Learning fedora 5 when 7 was out and FREE. We couldn't use the latest because they computers didn't have dvd burners or dvd-roms. yes, 2007-2008 and the computers still don't have a dvd burner, pathetic.

The guy coming in to say ITT networks are expensive, shit not in my experience. The network is SLOW.
If you don't like it, MOD IT!

I think recruiters like to have their students isolated before and during recruitment. The one thing the recruiter fears most is the potential student researching ITT independently on the internet. What happens when they come across a website like this?

Don’t let it happen to you!!!

I wonder why more potential customers don't.
