I am accepted, but i am having second thoughts on whether to attend or not when they showed me how much it would cost....
[...] Well it has pretty good layout, i guess. 3 day weeks Mon-Wed. Which leaves me time to work the other days i have off.

Throw in clubs, extracurricular activities, and you're setup for disaster. But that is part of a wholesome education, and not really something I can see ITT Tech offering. A university offers far more than ITT Tech could, because it is a public entity, not a private organization.
The only real students attending ITT Tech are the ones that shouldn't be there.

I heard horrible stories about ITT Tech a few years ago when I was looking to go back to school for a career change. I got burned by the CEC, so this time I wised up and started to research different schools. After finding this site, I am glad I didn't go to ITT. Seems like they have a high turnover rate for the instructors.

Not only do they have an unreal amount of turnover in instructors. It seems that anyone with a bachelors degree can teach there. I know there are some instructors there at the school that I attended with. I took time off for a military deployment and when I came back, 2 of the guys I had gone to school with were teaching the year 1 classes.

The only reason that I stayed in the school was that I was too far into my Bachelors degree to pull out, you cannot transfer your schooling anywhere, no other schools will take the classes that you have taken as credit. So it is either, spend another 1.5 years to finish my bachelors or waste all of the money that I have already spent.

I am attending ITT online for my BS in ISS. I received 2 associate degrees from them one in CEET and one in CNS. I live in Pennsylvania and before a technical school like ITT Tech can even offer an associates is to teach the course for 4 yrs and even then that is not a guarantee that the state will let them offer the associates. The state has not given them clearance to offer the BS, because while they do not meet the criteria set up by PA. The school is inspected by the state here every month. I was never lied to when I signed up for ITT they told me that my credit may not transfer to other schools and they are right. There are some schools that do take the credits. Financial aid was always available to me and found money for me to attend school. I was never snowballed and new exactly what I was getting into.

I will say that a lot of the teachers sucked, but we did not have a 2 week rotation like I have been reading on here. My school in Bensalem, PA has has a lot of their teacher there for years. I have had some great instructors and they helped me a great deal and I learned a lot. I have also has some horrible instructors.

I will not say that this is a great school. It did however give me something that I needed to get my foot in the door. No job in my state will look at me without a degree. An ITT Tech degree is respected in this state and they currently have an arrangement with Lockheed Martin for getting their student internships there. Lockheed Martin has hired many of My fellow Alumni to work for their company.

I have heard horrible stories about other states and how ITT is run there. I wish that none of you had to go through that nightmare and I wish you all luck with your lawsuits. I can not believe that they lied to you all so much that is simply unprofessional. I guess they do not realize that they make more money by word of mouth.

The truth it all depends on the campus you go too some are really good and other are really horrible nightmares. Even though I have not had all the problems others have had I can not say that they do not happen. I just want others to realize not all campuses with ITT are the same.

I know you're sincere, itvixen72, but the negatives jump out at me. I did not have the above issues at the community college or at the university I finally attended (after my ITT years).
