The college I am attending (ITT Technical Institute) is a big scam and it's plain to see they target the Lower Class Familys that are undereducated and poor, they seem to target them because they can get $40,000 in Federal Financial Aid from the government for signing these kids up for college, and promising them lot's of stuff that wont happen.
Now I am an idiot I will say, I fell for the scam and didn't do my research I guess, I was just searching for a college that offered the degree I wanted and no bullshit, ITT Tech came up amongst a few other colleges but they had nothing on how much it would cost to attend (yearly cost, etc) so I went in and spoke with an advisor or a salesman I should say basicallyt that's all they are. He tells me about the school and all the good things about it, and causually slips in after all is said and done your total cost will be $80,000 for attending after you graduate with your AAS - Information Technology - Computer network systems and I didn't listen or something like I should've.
Anyways, the classes are bullshit and the school is bullshit. The State university is offering my degree, and it will cost roughly $6000 per year, whereas ITT it cost's $17,000 per semester... why is it so expensive? None of the credits can transfer to any other school and it's not like they're wiping my ass for me after I take a shit, fuck they got the $17K from me for my first semester, I finished the first quarter now I am onto the second quarter but they will not allow me to take my books for my classes because I owe the school $150 out of pocket because I couldn't get enough Federal Aid and Loans to cover the first semester so I am not even going to school anymore, I missed the first week of the quarter (new classes) last week. How do they expect someone to learn when you wont allow them to get there books they paid for?
o if I drop out right now, I will owe the school $17,000 and have to start paying it off right away but I don't even have a job, let alone $150.
So my question is how the fuck can I get out of this mess without losing a nut and right leg? =-/ [...]

I went to two different schools that cost around $1234 per semester. Nothing great, but you (if you haven't already) will learn that everything in life is learned by your direct action. You will not just absorb knowledge, well you can, but chances are you can't be that way since the situation you describe. A long time ago I went from bottom of class (actually someone that was about to be sent to remedial class) to 'gifted'. Which as a term I find BS, I was just pushed and succeeded, others were never given the chance. Once again it goes back to counting on yourself to make sacrifices to make your goals a reality. [...]
