ITT Tech has ruined my future

Unfortunately I made a poor choice when I chose a school that would help me excel in my future. I didn't even attend a full year before withdrawing at ITT Tech for Computer Networking and I was expected to fork over 26k after attending for 10 months. I tried everything to fight ITT Tech and Sallie Mae for the schools misrepresentation and giving an unsatisfactory education. Of course I was made out to be a "liar" and was denied a refund. By that time my 6 months grace period had expired I was not making nearly enough at my retail job, and with the hours I was working I couldn't get a second job. I was looking to attend another school which was a quarter of the cost of ITT but by that time I had been reported delinquent on my private student loans and I couldn't return to school. The military won't even take me because I have delinquencies on my credit.

What really gets me is ITT Tech never notified me of my loans, whether I had federal or private and what was my interest was? I'm well aware now, that I have 2 private loans in which the interest is around 15-16%. My current loans has grown from 26k to 31k within a year including penalties. I was never informed that basic consumer protection have been stripped from me, ITT financial aid has turnovers just about every two weeks and I can never get a hold of them in order to seek some sort of assistance. There is nothing I can do for my private loans no deferment & no forbearance can help me. I had to move with my family and I'm currently unemployed I'm closing in on the infamous "default" everyone is talking about. ITT tech and Sallie Mae ultimately ruined my life it seems that my future is going no where fast.
