I read all over the internet all of the horrible experiances people have had with ITT, but this does not mean it is a bad school. We all know that bad publicity travels further and lasts longer then any thing good. I know there are some people that prob had a bad experiance, but for every bad there is atleast 100 good we never hear about. This is one of those times.
I choose ITT mostly because they WOULD work around my FT job. I attended ITT for two years and always had classes on Thursday and Friday nights. This was great to always know when my schedule was going to be to work with my employer. YEs it is much much more expencive then tradisional school, but for us that dont continue our education right out of HS need another alturnative to still work FT and care for a family. AS tradisional schools classes just would not work unless you only wanted to take a couple classes a semester at max and take twise as long to get your degree.
My school was exceptionally clean and inviting
Additional Details:
The instructors were always helpful and available almost any time. Even coming in on Saturdays for us to work on our projects. I had the same two teachers for all of my core classes the entire 2 years and really became friends. The class size was always less then 10 students so one on one was an everyday thing.
After graduating I continued my career with the same company moving from customer service to a technical engineer and almost doubling my salary. I currently make 24hr and am in line for another promotion.
I also continued my education with ITT and am in the process in getting a Bacholers in Project Management.
Thanks ITT!!!!

Just because ITT is for-profit does not mean they dont care about there students. It is mainly because they are not getting any state funds. All universities recieve tax money that we all pay so in fact I am paying for your education and mine... And ITT is acreditied just not by the same body that accredits Whatever State, or University of Whatever. That is good that you can work FT and make classes, when I was looking all the universities had classes that were all differnet days and in the middle of the day. I just could not do that and work 40-50hrs a week and spend time with my family.
Well as you can tell, ITT gave him the word class education that you think your buying for at $22K a year! You can tell that education paid off by his spelling, he is so smart he spells words his own way, screw english! Ahh good ol' PR work there! Yes ITT is accredited, they accredited themselves, but that doesn't mean they are a good school that respects academic standards.
