What a joke

Postby syntheticexctasy » January 11th, 2010, 6:48 pm

I have completed three quarters and am switching over to a local community college. All of the instructors are there to push students through the course at whatever ridiculous cost, as well as to take advantage of the student survey/bonus system. Now I am tons of money into debt with sallie mae, and may not be able to secure funding for additional education. Thanks ITT.

After I finally got fed up and quit ITT during the 4th quarter, I tried to attend a community college and was unable to get any type of loan due to the $29,000 that I owed Sallie Mae.

I gave up on the idea of going to school and now I work a low paying job and I am in debt to Sallie for the next 9 years. thanks ITT.

Sorry to hear it. Remember, people don't want to hear how shitty your last school was. (Not in detail and for extended periods of time.) People like positive people who have nothing bad to say about anyone.

I am sorry about what was was done to you. Expect no one to believe you. You will be seen as an excuse maker who couldn't hack it. ("It" being getting finacially fucked in the ass for two years in a row while the branch of knowledge you have idolized for years as well as academia itself is made a mockery of.)

Don't let it drive you crazy. You don't actually have to give them any money. The only way you will decide that paying your student loans is a good idea is if you CHOOSE to believe more of their lies. (Surely if they lied to everybody for decades on end in order to illegally acquire money... surely somebody would have done something. I mean they are kind of government backed.)
