What should I do?

I'm a student attending my last quarter at ITT. This means I already owe them a decent amount of money. However, it's not the assumed 45k, since most of my tuition was covered by grants, because I am extremely poor. Regardless, wasted money is wasted money. If the degree can get me nothing, then I would rather save money. I've had doubts about ITT, but did not realize (until recently) the school was this widely considered a rip-off. The school is on break at the moment, which is giving me plenty of time to reflect on the mistake that is ITT. I'm wondering whether I should just finish and graduate, or is the degree so worthless that I might as well save some money?

That depends on a number of factors, such as how much more time and money you have to spend in order to receive an Associates, if that's what you're actually getting (depends on each State). Your field of study and job market should also be taken into consideration. My gut instinct: bail and go to a community college.

Since your in your last quarter, you might as well finish. What's a few thousand more then your loans should be up in the high 30's, it may be a worthless degree, but at least you can say you have a degree lol.

I found I only owe about 12k. Whats funny is, I don't find ITT's education to be worth even that much. I think I will just finish and go to community college eventually. I'm not even 100% about my career choice, I'm still a youngin'. Anyway, I will still try to save people from going there, since I know 1 or 2 people considering it.
