Wounded soldier transfering out of ITT Tech today.

Well today I decided to transfer out of ITT Tech to another school. I am not going to sit here and bash the school, and say it sucks, and tell anyone not to go, but I will tell them to consider their options. I am in the Criminal Justice program, and I will say that I enjoyed the school for the most part, but after I started doing research on the school I started to see all of the negative comments about the school. I started researching the schools accredation, and found out so much that I had not known. I am in my 6th quarter at ITT, and had my final class yesterday. I will not say that ITT Tech sucks, but it is not for me. The Veteran Affairs office is paying for my education due to me almost losing my arm in Iraq from an IED. Althought I am not paying for my education at ITT my sacrifice is paying for it, and don't want my sacrifice to get me more out of my education. I learned tons of information about the criminal justice field of work, but I felt like I was not getting 80,000 dollars worth of an education. As I stated before I will not tell anyone not to go to ITT Tech because I believe that a degree from ITT Tech is better then a GED, or no degree at all. I feel like the type of students who go to school there are not the sharpest tools in the box, and think ITT is an easy road to a degree, but who am I to judge? That is just my opinion. While I do not agree with trying to sue ITT Tech, or with alot of comments on this page I am glad to see you are expressing your feelings.
I started to hear all these horror stories about ITT and I did not want to believe them, but in the end I realized that this was not the school for me if I wanted more out of life.

Good luck with your future education, or whatever you plan to do. I've always said the most accurate way to judge a school is by the quality its students, faculty, and administration, so it's for the best that you've quit ITT. Will the Veteran Affairs office pay for more schooling after ITT?
The only real students attending ITT Tech are the ones that shouldn't be there.
