Weak reviews so far, but maybe we can help change that?
I was shocked when I read what was written about the place that has changed me life! I have been attending this school for a little over a year. I am a single mom that has done really nothing to show my daughter that women can be strong and independent. So I decided to go back to school, I started very nerviously. But the staff at the Pitts. campus was excellent. They taught me a lot in the first quarter about getting back to school after 7 years. Once I got into my core classes my teachers started to work with me more personaly. I work hard for my strait A. I work very hard! Before I was even done with my first year I landed a great job that is going to walk right into my dream job. I am very happy and becoming a success. Maybe all these people who are saying they couldn't get jobs has something to do with them and not so much with the school. All, and I do really mean all, of my friends I have made have a good job now and we are all only half way through. What kind of grades did these people get? Did they work on the resume's? Or where they just thinking that some one was just going to hand them a job? If you want something then you have to put forth as much effort that is needed, you can't just sit around and complain about what others didn't do for you.
Even though they did not accept me 2 yrs ago [LOL ARE YOU KIDDING ME], I think this is one of the best technical schools to attend. If they gave me a chance to go here, I would drop everything to go to this school for programming/webdesign/IT. Hey if someone sees this that works for ITT give me a shout @ jpsneede@yahoo.com. Thanks

I attended in 2000-2001 at the pressuring of my father after my HS graduation. I took two years of drafting in HS, and I think I got more from that technically than I did at ITT. The "placment test" that you have to take to see if you qualify to attend should have been the first sign at almost $100.00 and I made a 98 out of 100 questions. The second should have been the small fortune they made us spend on manual drafting equipment. Which we used for less than a week, and sat in my room the rest of the time. No one drafts by hand anymore! The third should have been when they took 4 F*ing hours to go over how to turn on the computer, and how to navigate opening files and using the scroll bar. Not sh*tting you! 4 hours! I think the interviewing / resume writing class was the most helpful class. And their career placment was a joke. All they could do is point me to monster.com They only know about positions if someone calls it in, and yes this is a full-time position for someone. I should have dropped out and joined the Navy or Army. Here it is eight years later (from when i started) and I am still paying off student loans! What a crock of crap! Oh well at least now I have a little piece of paper saying I know what I am doing. *Sigh* Bottom line, your local Community College probably offers a much better CAD class at a meer fraction of the cost. Don't waste your time or money here!
